To accommodate fast growing marketing segments, AAEON has developed a brand new COM Express CPU Module, COM-45GS. The COM-45GS adopts Intel CoreTM 2 Duo/ Celeron M (SFF, 22 x 22mm) processor and Intel GS45+ICH9M SFF chipset, offering high speed one PCI-Express[x16] that can be configured as PCI-Express[x1]/[x2]/[x4]/[x8], five PCI-Express[x1], 32-bit PCI x 4, LPC bus x 1, SMBus x 1, and I2C x 1 interfaces for your high performance applications requiring high-speed and greater stability. The COM Express CPU Module offers flexibility and time-to-market advantages over a fully customized platform. AAEON’s COM-45GS supports 24-bit dual-channel LVDS LCD interface and supports two DDRIII 800/1066 SODIMM memory module up to 8GB. A high definition audio interface is available to connect to an audio codec on the carrier board. Moreover, three SATA II interfaces are featured giving the user flexibility in storage choices. To satisfy the requirements of applications in gaming, entertainment, industrial automation, medical, POS, and etc, COM Express carrier boards can be designed targeting the needs of the different market segments.
